Green Roof Garden Workday
Listed by The Green Roof Garden at UGA
About
The Green Roof Garden is a solar-powered and student-managed vegetable garden, perched atop the roof of UGA's
Geography/Geology building. Come join us as we grow some great food, get our hands reasonably dirty, and work to alleviate food insecurity in Athens.
And what's more, the view is great too!

Requirements
We'll be working outside and there is always the possibility of getting dirty! So dress appropriately and resist the temptation to wear your favorite outfit (though gardening in style is always commendable). Opt for close-toed shoes and make sure to bring a water bottle. Gloves will be provided (though there's nothing like showing off the dirt under your fingernails!)
