Description
Come join the Interdisciplinary Alliance for Nonprofit Organizations at UGA for a virtual roundtable coffee hour on Tuesday, April 14th from 8:30am to 10:00am.  The zoom link for the meeting is: https://zoom.us/j/7271727249

We are going to be talking about how nonprofit leaders can best leverage the power of their board during a crisis.  Anyone working in a local nonprofit organization or serving on a nonprofit board is invited to join us.  We will be sharing some strategies for making the most of board involvement during this time that many of our local nonprofits, their staff, and their clients are being stretched and stressed.  We will also have some time for you to share some helpful strategies with each other and to share your concerns about how COVID-19 is affecting the local nonprofit sector.

  1. Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.

  2. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  3. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
