Description

We are looking forward to our Experience UGA trips for the semester! Choose the date and school that work best for you. If all spots are filled, choose another trip.

Trip Description: The first grade students will learn about personal safety with regard to medicines, poisonous plants, and poisonous animals. Students will also learn about the basic needs of plants and animals. This trip is hosted with the College of Pharmacy, the College of Forestry, and the UGA Trial Gardens.

Guidelines for the trip:

o    Come to the College of Pharmacy, Pharmacy South Building (the brick building) at 9:00 am (for welcome volunteers) or 9:45 (for general volunteers) to prepare for the students arrival and have an overview of the activities for the day.
o    Be prepared to engage children.
o    Do not have any food or drink with you during the trip.
o    Do not leave until all children are back on their buses.
o    Have fun with the children!

Rain Plan:

o    The trip will have to be rescheduled.
o    We will make our decision by 8:15 AM the morning of the trip, and will let you know as soon as possible after that.
o    Check your UGA e-mail regularly as that is where you will receive notification of updates regarding the trip.
