One of our exclosures was hit by a fallen tree so our main task for this work day will be to re-build it! Some context about what an exclosure is for those who don't know: it's a 2x2 meter wooden/wire structure meant to keep the goats from eating the vegetation inside. It acts as a sort of control to see how the area would look without our prescribed grazing effort. We use the exclosures and the 2x2 meter quadrat plots surrounding them when we collect vegetation data to track the goats' progress. If you plan on making it out, please wear close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting some dirt on. Thanks!
