Interfaith Day of Service

Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 8:00am to 12:00pm (ET)

Join ServeUGA for Interfaith Day of Service on Saturday, April 8th!

Interfaith Day of Service seeks to encourage interfaith conversations through service, fostering understanding and empathy by recognizing the common ground between different faiths, but also what makes them unique.

We will be assigning volunteers to sites for this event, but if you have a preference of friends to volunteer with, you can indicate that when you register online for the event. Registration will be at the Tate Student Center Room 135 Reception Hall. Registration will begin at 8:00am and will be followed by a program with guest speakers starting at 8:30am. We will depart campus by 9:15am and service projects will start by 9:30am. Participants will serve at their assigned sites for about 2 hours and should be back on campus around 12:00pm.

Transportation is provided, but volunteers are also welcome to carpool. A light snack is provided in the morning, but eating breakfast beforehand is encouraged. Insomnia Cookies will be treated after service!
