We are looking forward to our Experience UGA trips for the semester!
Trip Description: Pre-K students learn about the natural world through their sense as they act out the life cycle of a tree, observe insects in nature, and engage in other exploratory activities.
This Experience UGA Pre-K video will provide you with a visual of where you will be going in the morning as well as activity descriptions.
Guidelines for the trip:
o You are responsible for getting transportation to the State Botanical Garden.
o Arrive at the State Botanical Garden by 9:15 am and locate Berkeley and/or Cora in the Education Department. The students will arrive at 9:30 am.
o Be prepared to engage young children.
o Do not have any food or drink with you during the trip.
o Trip activities are done at 11. Volunteers are free to leave at this time but may stay for lunch with the students if they would like.
o Have fun with the children!
o The trip will have to be rescheduled.
o We will make our decision by 8:15 AM the morning of the trip, and will let you know as soon as possible after that.
o Check your UGA e-mail regularly as that is where you will receive notification of updates regarding the trip.
