Stroud Elementary School trail restoration work day

Saturday, March 25th, 2017 from 9:00am to 2:00pm (ET)


Stroud Elementary is a local school located in the Trail Creek watershed. In order to promote watershed health and encourage students and community members to connect to nature watershed UGA is teaming up with two environmental practicum classes to restore a nature trail on Stroud's grounds. 
Tasks for the day will be ongoing from 9-2. Please join us and volunteer your time as you are available or feel free to stay the whole time!
Tasks for this work day include: planting, trash pick/removal, lifting, digging, invasive species removal, and other outdoor activities. 
Suggested attire is clothes you can get dirty, closed toed shoes, work gloves, a hat.
Water and a light lunch will be provided. Be sure to bring a re-usable water bottle to stay hydrated.
