Description | Come create a memorable field trip experience for Athens kids, network with other UGA students and staff, and build your resume by volunteering on campus for one or more days with Clarke County 2nd grade students! No prior health knowledge or teaching experience is necessary! Trip Description: The 2nd grade students will travel around the Health Sciences Campus attending fun, health-related stations covering physical activity, nutrition, hand-washing and germ spread, and bullying prevention. Station leaders and event guides are needed for each day. Feel free to sign up for multiple days and different roles! Orientation for this trip is required. Orientations will be held at the following times and locations:
Guidelines for the trip: o You are responsible for transportation to the Public Health Campus. o Arrive at Pound Hall by 9:00 am o Have fun with the children! Rain Plan: In case of rain, the trip will still occur as planned. Emergency Contacts: |
