Each week, CKUGA receives over 1000lbs of prepared foods, raw groceries, and fresh produce from local grocery stores and farmer’s markets. Meal Planners evaluate the donations we receive and sort them by destination and into meal plans. Sort, count, bag, and weigh food items, and prepare meal plans to be used by Cooking and Packaging Shift Captains. This shift takes place at Talmage Terrace, and a considerable amount of time will be spent in our cooler/freezer space.
This shift is led by the Culinary intern and Campus Kitchen Shift Captains.

This shift is restricted to volunteers who have experienced at least one other Campus Kitchen shift prior to their registration date. Long pants and shirts are recommended, as a significant portion of this shift will be spent in our cooler/freezer.
