UGA Rotaract

About

Description
Rotaract is a professional, leadership and service organization that focuses on the development of professional skills of young adults. We focus on creating leaders in their communities and workplace that would be translatable into any major.

Our club has volunteered over thousands of hours in the past year through various projects such as, the Boys & Girls Club, the Northeast Georgia Food bank, Salvation Army, Animal Shelter, American Red Cross, Morningside, Habitat for Humanity, Project Safe, UGarden, Athens Community Centers, Hands on Athens, Relay for Life and other various international projects. This only includes the amount of hours our members have completed from just in-house service projects alone, not including the community service hours that our members have completed outside our organization as well!

Rotaract offers many benefits for a wide range of majors. In addition to being service-oriented, we provide networking opportunities with prominent business leaders and professionals who are involved with our sponsoring club. Including the Athens Rotary Club and its many international branches all across the world!
