Event DescriptionJoin ServeUGA this semester for volunteering opportunities with Project Safe! Project Safe works to end domestic violence through intervention, support services, advocacy, and education. Volunteers will be working at the Project Safe Thrift Shop, which supports programs and services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

We volunteer on an ongoing basis at Project Safe.  Once you sign-up, a Service Ambassador (ServeUGA site leader) will be in touch with you with more information about what to expect.

If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact any of the following Service Ambassadors:

Harsh Patel: htp62553@uga.edu
Octavian Amechi: osa58472@uga.edu
Chantel Mackey: ckm14021@uga.edu

The University of Georgia is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities upon request. Please contact the Department of Engagement, Leadership, & Service via phone at 706-542-6396 or email at amanda.torrence25@uga.edu with specific requests.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines: All volunteers are required to wear a mask, and the store is regularly sanitized and cleaned thoroughly. We will "tag out" and rotate people as we go along, so no one becomes overly tired. During the time ATL Recycling is present at the store, we close off that side of the store to customers - volunteers will only be interacting with staff and one another. We have two staff bathrooms stocked with hand soap for volunteers to use.
