About
Welcome Baby is a free in-home visitation program available to families with children under three years old. You, as a trained volunteer, will visit at least two families once a month in their home. During these visits, you will educate parents on their child's developmental milestones, provide essential baby supplies, and create a sense of support and community.
Prior knowledge of early childhood development is not required. You will be trained and issued a guidebook with all the information. United Way of Northern Utah will provide the baby supplies to be given to the families. The only requirements are a strong desire to serve your community in an ongoing capacity and the ability to pass a background check. Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not necessary.
