[EXTERNAL REGISTRATION] Long Island Science Center Volunteer

The Long Island Science Center is a 501(c)3 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Learning Museum with a mission to prepare young people for the challenges of a 21st century economy built on advanced technology and innovation. 

Teaching/education, museum and prior experience working with children a bonus, but NOT required.

Positions include: 

• Program Prep Volunteers: We provide instructor led programs throughout Long Island and need help prepping projects for those programs.  Come in and help with simple prep items.
• Science Saturday Volunteers: Every Saturday we have an instructor led class on-site. Volunteers will help the staff set-up, assist the children taking the class and then assist with break-down
• Weekend Museum Volunteers: Come in and volunteer to help out in the museum. Volunteers assist guests with using the interactive exhibits.
